Hello From Lewis Logic
Hi, and welcome to Lewis Logic. We're so glad you're here.
We should probably introduce ourselves: we're a husband-and-wife team who got tired of handing our phones to kids — and to ourselves — and watching something that should be good for our brains turn into a slot machine of ads, pop-ups, and "unlock the next level for $4.99." Somewhere along the way, "brain games" stopped being about the brain.
So one evening, over the kind of conversation that usually goes nowhere, we asked each other a simple question: what if we just made the apps we actually wanted?
Clean ones. Quiet ones. Apps that respect your time instead of mining it. Puzzles you could pull up on a long car ride with no signal, hand to a seven-year-old, and still find genuinely tricky as an adult. No ads interrupting the "aha." No accounts, no data harvesting, no dark patterns nudging you to spend. Just the puzzle, and you, and that satisfying click when it all comes together.
That conversation became Lewis Logic.
What we believe
We started this company around a few stubborn convictions:
Thinking should feel like play. The best learning doesn't feel like studying. It feels like one more turn.
Simple is hard — and worth it. A great puzzle needs one sentence of rules and a lifetime of depth. We sweat the small stuff so you don't have to read a manual.
Challenge belongs to everyone. A kid sounding out their first words and an adult untangling a logic puzzle can sit on the same couch, each fully challenged at their own level. That's the magic we're chasing.
Your attention is not the product. No ads. No tricks. When you open one of our apps, the only thing competing for your focus is the puzzle in front of you.
What we're making
Right now we have a small but growing family of apps — a daily capture-puzzle that needs zero chess knowledge, a math card game that turns arithmetic into a race, a spelling adventure that helps young readers climb floor by floor, and more ideas than we have weekends. Every one of them follows the same rule: if we don't love playing it, it doesn't ship.
We're a tiny team. We don't have a marketing department or a boardroom full of growth metrics. What we have is a genuine love of puzzles, a belief that learning can be joyful, and the freedom to build things the way we think they should be built.
Come along with us
This blog is where we'll share what we're working on, the thinking behind our puzzles, little behind-the-scenes stories, and tips for getting the most out of our apps. Some posts will be about design. Some will be about learning. Some will just be us being excited about a clever puzzle.
If you believe — like we do — that a few quiet minutes with a good puzzle can be one of the better parts of your day, then you're our kind of person. Thanks for being here at the very beginning.
Here's to the next great challenge.
