Privacy Policy for Equations

Thank you for playing Equations. This policy explains what the app does with your information.In short: Equations has no accounts, no ads, and no analytics. Your game progress stays on your device. The only information that ever leaves your device is what is needed to sell and restore the one optional purchase, Equations Pro.

Data Stored on Your Device

Equations saves your game data locally on your device only, so your progress is preserved between sessions. This includes:Your phase and puzzle progress, and which difficulties you have unlockedYour high scores, play streak and daily objectivesYour Challenge and Training history, including which arithmetic facts you have answered and how quicklyAny in-progress gameThe names of any player profiles you createYour app settingsThis data is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and we have no way to access it. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is permanently deleted.

In-App Purchases

Equations offers one optional, one-time purchase called Equations Pro. If you choose to buy it — or tap "Restore purchase", or simply open the app after having bought it — the app communicates with RevenueCat, Inc., which manages the purchase on our behalf and tells the app whether you are entitled to Pro.For that purpose RevenueCat processes:A randomly generated, anonymous app user ID created on your device. It is not derived from your name or email, and we never link it to your identity.A device identifier supplied by the operating system (on iOS, Apple's identifier for vendors).Your purchase and transaction history for this app, as reported by the App Store or Google Play.Technical details of the request: app version, operating system version, store country, and the IP address the request came from.We use this only to unlock what you paid for, to restore it on a new device, and to see anonymous totals of how many purchases have been made. It is not used for advertising, and it is not used to track you across other apps or websites.Your payment itself is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see or receive your card details, billing address, or store account.RevenueCat's own privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy. Purchases made through the App Store are also covered by Apple's privacy policy, and those made through Google Play by Google's.

What the App Does Not Do

No advertising, and no advertising SDKs.No analytics or usage tracking.No accounts. We never ask for your name, email address, contacts or location.No tracking across apps or websites, by us or by anyone we work with.Apart from the purchase process described above, Equations is fully playable offline and makes no network requests.

Children's Privacy

Equations is suitable for all ages and is not directed at children under 13 in a way that involves collecting personal information from them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app contains no advertising, no social features, and no way to communicate with other players.Equations does contain a one-time in-app purchase. Parents who want to prevent purchases can use Screen Time on iOS or parental controls in Google Play.

Your Rights

Because the game data is held on your device and the purchase data is anonymous, there is generally nothing for us to look up, export or delete. If you would like us to delete the purchase records associated with your device, contact us at the address below and we will ask RevenueCat to remove them. Note that doing so may mean you can no longer restore Pro without buying it again — Apple and Google keep their own record of your purchase regardless.You can delete everything the app stores on your device at any time by uninstalling it.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a revised "Last updated" date.
