Terms of Use for Rookata

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Rookata app. By downloading or using Rookata, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who we are

Rookata (the "app") is provided by Lewis Logic LLC ("we", "us"). You can reach us using the details in the Contact section below.

2. License to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Rookata on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

3. Things you agree not to do

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.
  • Use the app in any unlawful way or to interfere with its normal operation.

4. Purchases

Rookata offers a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks premium features. All purchases are processed by the app store you downloaded the app from — the Apple App Store or Google Play — and are subject to that store's terms. We do not process or store your payment details.

  • The unlock is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It is not a subscription and does not recur.
  • You can restore a previous purchase on a new or reinstalled device using the "Restore Purchase" option on the unlock screen.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies, not by us.
  • Prices may vary by region and may change over time. Features included in the unlock may evolve as the app is updated.

5. Your content and data

Rookata stores your game progress and settings locally on your device. Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Intellectual property

The app, including its name, design, graphics, and code, is owned by Lewis Logic LLC and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time. We aim to keep the app working well but do not guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lewis Logic LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for it.

10. App store terms

Your use of Rookata is also subject to the terms of the app store you downloaded it from. If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app; the Apple standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and in case of conflict its purchase-related terms prevail for App Store purchases.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Lewis Logic LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where local consumer-protection law grants you additional rights.
